The simplest way to book a room is to call or email. You will reach Elin or Rhys, not a call centre, and we will normally reply the same day.

Booking a room

Tell us your dates, how many of you there are and which room has caught your eye, and we will check the book and come straight back. We take a deposit to hold the dates and the balance on arrival; the full detail is set out in our booking terms and conditions, including how cancellations work, so please have a read before you confirm.

If you are still deciding, the rooms are described honestly on the home page, and our story will tell you what sort of place you are walking into.

Finding us

We are the pair of tall townhouses at the western end of Bodfor Terrace, facing the water. There is no missing the front; the trick is the parking, which we will sort with you when you book.

By train. Aberdovey and Penhelig stations are both inside the village on the Cambrian Coast Line. Change at Machynlleth for direct services from Birmingham and Shrewsbury. From either platform it is a walk of under ten minutes, suitcase and all.

By road. We sit on the A493 coast road. Tywyn is four miles to the north, Machynlleth eleven miles east. Set the sat-nav to LL35 0EA and it will bring you onto the terrace.

View the house on OpenStreetMap, or check the day's tides and the Met Office forecast before you set out — both change the character of the estuary completely.
